What to do after an unwanted call
Caller ID can be spoofed. A report does not identify who actually called you. Verify any claimed organization using its official website before sharing information or sending money.

These numbers share a prefix. Reports do not establish a connection between their callers.
Report data includes unverified consumer complaints reported to the FTC's Do Not Call registry and reports submitted by Scambook users. Reports describe unwanted calls received by consumers and do not by themselves prove wrongdoing by the number's current owner. Caller ID can be spoofed, so the displayed number may not identify the caller. Moderation does not independently verify a complaint.
